Overview: 

This program will review proper writing of prescriptions, disposal of unused medications and protection of prescription pads.


Objectives:

Upon completion of this live activity, participants will be better able to: 
• Identify the problem of prescription drug abuse

• Identify patients at risk for abuse

• Learn how to manage post-op pain without narcotics

• Review proper use and disposal of prescription medications

• Write prescriptions and protect prescription pads


About the Presenter:

Dr. Marvin Leventer is a faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School and has been practicing dentistry in the State of Maryland since 1995.
